Is the inequality society so bad?

As a recent tone, I feel that the trend of disparity society = evil is spreading, but is that so bad? I have a simple question.
I think it means that “a society where people who work hard and achieve results are more rewarded”, but what about it?
Of course, it goes without saying that a safety net is necessary in various ways, but I feel that the field is so fulfilling in the world that fraudulent receipts become a problem in Japan.
The results of epic experiments that those who work hard and those who do not receive the same treatment are well known.
What matters is whether there is equal opportunity? I think that is the point, but I think that it is rare for a country to be as blessed as Japan.
There are many managers who have built a large company in one generation, and it seems that the founders of listed companies in their twenties are not uncommon these days.
I do not say that there is no such thing as being treated unfairly depending on age, gender, nationality, etc., but I think that Japan has a mature society that can be covered within the scope of the efforts of the individual.
It is a problem in a society where everyone is exhausted after excessive competition, but I think that a moderately competitive society will be the cornerstone of growth and development even on an individual basis.
In addition, even for those who are not good at such a trend, Japan has prepared an environment where various lifestyles can be realized, such as living overseas or living in a region with a good environment.
Somehow, I feel a sense of blockage in society, but I think it may be a good time with an unprecedented degree of freedom.
