Hiromasa Ougikubo won the RIZIN bantamweight tournament!

E-Partners Co., Ltd. supports Hiromasa Ougikubo, who is active in the RIZIN bantamweight class.

Yesterday, on New Year’s Eve 2021, Ougikubo defeated Kai Asakura in the bantamweight tournament final and won the championship!

After winning the match in November of last year, Ougikubo requested RIZIN President Sakakibara to “open a bantamweight grand prix.”
In response, RIZIN announced that it will hold a bantamweight tournament with the participation of 16 players.
After that, on January 31, last year, Ougikubo returned the Shooto world flyweight belt, which he had held for four and a half years.
On the official youtube channel “Ogichanneru”, he declares that he will “narrow down to the bantamweight (the place to fight)”, “meal and training are matched to the bantamweight”, and “win the tournament and win”.

Ougikubo defeated Kasugai “Kanten” Takeshi in the first round on June 13th last year and Takafumi Otsuka in the second round on September 19th.

Yesterday, after defeating Naoki Inoue, who was said to be a candidate for the championship in the semi-finals, Kai Asakura also defeated him in the finals, and he won the tournament that he requested to hold.

In both the semi-finals and the finals, Ougikubo demonstrated his skill in mixed martial arts against the two championship candidates who have a high reputation in the past and have a good track record, canceling out all the good points of Asakura and Inoue. It was a complete victory in control.
